Resource Exchange Program

Subarna Bhumi Foundation is promoting handicrafts made by people in rural communities at Subarna Bhumi Resort. By creating a market for handicrafts targeted towards vacationists, it increases opportunity, promotes equity and the profitable income drives a real change in the rural communities. SBFs’ Resource Exchange Program is community based and collaborative as it allows to strengthen the networks between many rural communities and urban areas. The marketable handicrafts are customizable, sustainable and inclusive for all ages and abilities.

Currently the team at Subarna Bhumi Foundation is creating an e-market to showcase the handicraft items to the broader public in order to increase funding and awareness. However, pictures of the handmade items can be found in the Gallery and are available for purchase at the Subarna Bhumi Resort, Munshiganj.
